Helping Non-profit Organizations Thrive
The Community Consulting Program (CCP) provides pro-bono organization development (OD) consulting services to non-profit organizations in Minnesota who cannot afford these professional services. We do this by bringing together dynamic teams of MNODN members to partner with these organizations. Each team of volunteer Consultants is supported by a Senior Consultant with 10-20 years of OD experience.

Through CCP, we share the values and skills of the OD field with non-profit organizations in the community that otherwise are not able to afford these services.
Organization development is a collaborative process that helps people and their organizations increase their effectiveness and vitality based on their prioritized values and active participation. Specifically, CCP:
Helps nonprofits achieve stated organizational goals
Increases community awareness of the value of OD in enhancing the success of organizations
Provides opportunities for OD professionals to learn, network, and serve
CCP is sponsored by MNODN and represents a win-win for our mission, our members, and our community.
Our Purpose
CCP Project Teams
CCP project teams are comprised of and supported by four primary roles. The actual makeup of teams may vary slightly based on available resources and project scope.
Senior Consultant
1 per project
Lead, guide and manage project team and strategic direction
Supports team member development and growth
CCP Core Team
Consultant
Approx. 3 per project
Implement and deliver against project objectives
Students preparing to enter the OD field are considered
Provides leadership and infrastructure to facilitate the program
Primary mechanism to recruit, screen, and engage CCP project team members and clients
Ensures CCP service meets the needs of the non-profit clients
Facilitates the process to match consultants with clients
