Q: What is your educational background? 

Bachelors and Masters in Music education, Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Prosci Change Management certification.

Q: How long have you been in the OD field?

1 year with a job titled "OD", and 5 years as an educational administrator/OD leader.

Q: How long have you been a member of MNODN?  

1 year.

Q: Why did you join?

I enjoyed getting to know many of the members at MNODN networking and found the community to be incredibly welcoming and engaging.

Q: What benefits do you gain from membership?

So far I have enjoyed the networking events, lunch and learns, and evening offerings. I am looking forward to serving with a creative and talented board as they look to expand offerings.

Q: What special skills do you possess that make you an effective OD professional?

I am a connector and am passionate about collaboration. It is important to me to build sustainable and equitable environments in organizations that I serve. I enjoy learning from others and look forward to continuing to learn from others in MNODN.

Q: Have you been a board member or volunteer with MNODN? If so, please share your  experience/benefits.

Yes! I am joining the board this spring as the treasurer where I look forward to supporting the best use of our financial resources.

Q: What advice do you have for people entering the field?

Get to know others who are doing OD work in their organizations. The roles/responsibilities of an OD professional seem to change drastically based on organization size and function. I have learned how to do my work better through networking with other OD professionals.
