Mentoring.

MNODN is now accepting applications for the 2024 Mentoring Program!

Please apply here by December 1, 2023.

Whether you are looking to guide someone new to the field, brainstorm with a fellow experienced professional, or understand the life of an internal/external practitioner, this program will set you up for professional growth.

We believe that every participant in the mentoring relationship benefits, although the goals for each person may differ depending on levels of experience and need.  Each person serves as a trusted sounding board, asking questions and providing support that leads to new insights and broader perspectives. One possible approach is for participants to rotate between mentor and mentee roles in order to reciprocate each other's learning.

We offer mentoring in 1:1 pairs and in circles of three to four people. Pairs and circles are matched on a variety of factors including background, expertise, and most importantly personal and professional objectives. The program is highly autonomous for the pairs/circles, with support offered as needed throughout the program.

Here are a few more highlights:

  • Program runs January through August

  • Students and professionals with all levels of experience are welcome

  • The program is an opportunity to cultivate meaningful professional relationships

  • There will be a kickoff, mid-year check-in, and closing celebration

Mentoring Options:

  • One-on-One: A professional relationship in which mentoring partners help each other develop specific skills and knowledge that enhance professional and personal growth.

  • Small Circles: Brings three to four mentoring partners together to learn from one another.
