March Monthly Meeting

Description:

In this interactive session, we will make important connections between the fields of Facilitation and Organization Development.

  • What are the core competencies for Facilitation? (A little history of the development of professional facilitation will also be shared)
  • Where are you on your facilitation journey to enhance your skills and learn new methods? (Experience a ToP Focused Conversation.)
  • Looking at the key components/steps for carrying out an OD project, what facilitation activities and methods do you choose? (Add your ideas to a process timeline!)
  • What difference can participatory facilitation methods make for an organizational shift and cultural change?

Come explore these questions and topics and leave with new ideas for growing your skills and practice!  Rachel is a Certified ToP Facilitator and Qualified Mentor Trainer.  She has been building her facilitation tool box for the last 20 years, and is passionate about facilitating groups to discover common ground and new insights.  As a "student of the question," Rachel enjoys process design and creating questions that help groups go deeper!

Rachel Hefte is a facilitator and trainer specializing in helping groups work more effectively together through focused conversations, action planning, consensus decision-making, strategic planning, group conciliation/conflict resolution, and building skills for community and leadership development.  For over 15 years Rachel has been making a difference for business, non-profit, government, education, and community groups by facilitating collaborative processes that help transform input and discussion into shared decisions, working agreements, and focused action.
