Do good OD work for a good cause.
Community Consulting Program (CCP) provides pro-bono organization development (OD) consulting services to nonprofit organizations in Minnesota who cannot afford these professional services. The program empowers Minnesota Organization Development Network (MNODN) members to give back to the community and broaden their experience in new areas.
Many organizations are unaware of how OD can help improve business and human systems. Organizations may become more effective by increasing focus on direction, leadership, or structure. Yet they may lack time, internal expertise or resources to engage OD consultants. The CCP provides these nonprofit organizations an opportunity to access OD expertise to enhance capabilities and achieve their goals.
MNODN launches projects in two cycles each year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall.
Each project will last 3-5 months.
The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits assists in marketing the program and identifying potential organizations that can benefit from the program’s services.
Project Teams are comprised of a project lead and 2-3 OD consultants, mixing subject-matter experts with consultants wanting to broaden their experience.
Community Consulting projects often include the following areas of organization development:
Organization goal setting
Employee and staff development
Other critical organizational issues.
We do not offer consultation in the areas of fundraising, financial systems, or information systems.
